TropikVillas started with a handful of villas and a simple idea: manage them the way we would want our own home looked after. We live on Gili Air, we answer the messages ourselves, and we built our own software so nothing slips through the cracks.

How we work

Small, on purpose.

We only take on villas we’d want to sleep in, and only as many as our team can know by heart. Every house has the same people cleaning it, the same person answering the WhatsApp, and the same eyes on the pool pump before it becomes a problem.

The software behind the slow life.

We couldn’t find a tool that fitted a car-free island with fast boats and rupiah, so we wrote one. It runs the whole operation — and it is why this website’s calendar is live: a management panel for us, a phone app for the island team in Bahasa and English, and a portal for each owner.
